Let’s start with a great recommendation: Lemuria Gourmet Restaurant serves French Mediterranean cuisine made from the freshest and quality ingredients. Their 4-6 multi-course meals have a lot to offer in terms of their rich flavors and craft, which can consist of food items like fish, beef, sorbets, desserts, and more! On top of that, they have a Spring menu that will last until May 31st and an event called the Grape Escape coming soon.

It should also be noted that the restaurant possesses a great deal of quality wine straight from the wine cellar that is found beneath the establishment. These wines are from all around the world, with globally renowned winemakers from places like Romania, Germany, and Argentina. That is just scratching the surface of course, and we recommend you check out their wine through sampling them in their Wine Flights Menu.

The price range of their course meals can range from P 2,900 - P 4,000, but of course price varies depending on the meal that you are partaking in. The wine tasting price range is also varied depending on whether you will order for a glass (P495+ - P575+) or an individual (P1,500+ - P1,700+). The restaurant also has a European styled design where once you take a seat it feels like you are in the Mediterranean where the interior has that feel from the walls to the ceiling.

Ninyo Fusion Cuisine

Following our excursion to the Mediterranean, we will move into a more homogenous restaurant, one like Ninyo Fusion Cuisine. The establishment follows a combination of European-Asian cuisine that delights the senses and is certainly magical. The magical part doesn't only go to the food items either, the very ambiance of the restaurant screams “romantic getaway” with their garden and homelike design that makes you feel comfortable.

The restaurant also prides itself in not only their interior design, but their exterior design is just as impressive with pagodas encased by varying flowers and plantlife. Their menu is also lively, consisting of individual meals like entrees (P800 - P3,250), salads (P450), soups (P300), desserts (P300 - P370), and other classic menu items if you are feeling peckish and want a great meal for one.

However, the real star of the show comes from their multi-course meals. Their 8 Course Comfort Degustation is one of the more standout meals as they come with appetizers from soup to full course meals like their halibuts and then dessert and drinks. For this particular meal, the meal is priced at P2,400 per head. What cannot be understated is their selection of wine as the establishment also prides themselves on their wine that goes swimmingly with their meals.

Following the excursion from the meals of other companies, let’s go check on something more familiar, more Filipino. Here comes in Hapag MNL! A fine dining Filipino restaurant that serves the familiar Filipino flavors but innovates on these sensations to bring the dished to new heights! The restaurant is held under the belief that meals were a sacred time, as that is the best time for bonding to happen with the people closest to you.

The restaurant is a great place to really connect with your friends, families, and partners in a safe place. The restaurant has a dinner menu that lasts on Wednesdays to Sundays from 6:00 PM & 7:30 PM which consists of meals from panimula, salu-salo, and then panapos. Of course, from each meal you can also get them a la carte if you so wish, but their menu changes so it would be best to check out their website and see what’s on the menu.

They also have a wide range of alcoholic beverages, ranging from wine to cocktails to beers, and even going alongside them are non-alcoholic beverages such as teas and coffees. Their interior design is also something to write home about with their minimalist wooden design that makes itself feel like its something similar, something you’ve seen before, something like home, and that is a commendable feat for any restaurant.

Of course, these restaurants have had plenty of time to really flourish with time, where more and more people are able to appreciate the food and the ambience of fine dining, but new restaurants pop up every once in a while that try to change the mold. In comes the more recently established Xi By Cafe Guilt. The restaurant is a sibling of Cafe Guilt down the road, but each establishment has a different vibe where Cafe Guilt is more laid back and Xi by Cafe Guilt feels a tad bit more nuanced and sophisticated.  The cuisine that they have in store are Filipino comfort foods that have been reinvented to have more of a contemporary twist on the classics. They serve light meals like their BLT Sandwiches (P250) to their Stella’s Fish and Chips (P687), while also offering starters (P550 - P1,490), main courses (P850 - P3,470), and their long selection of both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages. Last but certainly not least, a restaurant that encapsulates the Western-Italian dining experience in not only their menu but also in their quirky décor is one called the Frazzled Cook. The restaurant gives off a cozy vibe with their mismatched furniture, dim lighting, and near chaotic interior design. The restaurant has that sort of charm that makes the place perfect for more casual dates.

The cuisine that they serve are Italian dishes which consist of a wide range of different categories such as their soups (P155 - P195), pasta (P225 - P395), pizza (P385 - P535), chicken (P265 - P425), seafood (P295 - P425), and many more. Their signature dishes are their Pizza Caprese priced at P385 and the Truffle Pasta priced at P395 for a plate but P645 for sharing.
