Concerts to Watch Out For This 2022

  As COVID-19 restrictions begin to ease up, events are starting to come back with some of them are bigger than ever.   Many music fans have missed the feeling of being able to attend concerts during the pandemic. Acts had to cancel their show dates in the country because of restrictions which left many fans devastated. But since restrictions are easing up, many artists have announced that they will arrive on Philippine shores this year and fans are psyched.   With that, here is a quick list of concerts that will rock the country in 2022.  

Concerts to Watch Out For This 2022

  The first and second quarters of 2022 saw ‌international acts such as Louis Tomlinson, Red Velvet, and TREASURE, among others. The remaining two quarters will wow more crowds with its line-up of performers that’ll surely set the tone for the rest of the year for the music industry.  

Super Junior

    Veteran Kpop fans are in for a treat as Super Junior returns to the Philippines for Super Show 9: Road in Manila. This is the group's sixth concert in the country and will definitely provide fans with a hint of nostalgia as the well-loved group takes the stage. These Hallyu Kings will perform at the SM Mall of Asia Area on August 6, 2022.  

All Time Low

    Famous for hits like Dear Maria, Count Me In and Monsters, American Band All Time Low will come to the Philippines this August 15, 2022. They will take the stage at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. Filipino Rock Band ChicoSci will also be featured in the concert along with All Time Low.  

(G)-IDLE

    (G)-IDLE's JUST ME ()I-DLE World Tour will come to the Philippines this year as well - making it a glorious year for Kpop fans. This is the first time that the girl group will come to the country for a world tour. The powerhouse girl group will have their concert on September 11, 2022, and the New Frontier Theater Manila.  

The Script

    Irish Band, The Script, will have a one-night concert in the Philippines on September 23, 2022, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. The group is well known for their songs such as Breakeven, The Man Who Can't Be Moved, and I Want It All.  

SEVENTEEN

    K-Pop group, SEVENTEEN, will be bringing their Be The Sun World Tour to the Philippines for a two-day performance at the SM Mall of Asia Arena. The Kpop group first graced the country with their talent in 2020 and they are now set to take the Philippine stage once again on October 9 and 10, 2022.  

Avril Lavigne

    Avril Lavigne is coming to the Philippines for her concert having being rescheduled. The singer was supposed to perform in the country earlier this year but due to personal circumstances and scheduling conflicts, it was moved to the last quarter of the year. Lavigne is set to perform at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on November 3, 2022.   These are just some acts that will come to the Philippines to serenade their fans.
